What's Required for Membership, or I Can't Commit

Several gentlemen have said they can't commit, or don't want to keep receiving the newsletters if they never come to the meeting. I thought it would be good to outline the different types of participation that are available:

  1. Pray for us. We're just a bunch of husbands and fathers trying to do our job better. We need prayers. If you could remember the group in your prayers, we'd all appreciate it. We don't need to know about it, but if any prayers or offerings are made known, through a text to me, an email reply, or blog comment, etc. I'll gladly let the group know that we have some spiritual support.
  2. Subscribe to the newsletter. This is where I'll announce meeting times and topics. There will also be links to this site where discussions can form and even be brought up in a meeting. You can opt out of the newsletter any time, or just archive it without reading it until you're interested.
  3. Come to a meeting. We'll try to have them twice a month (first Thursday and third Saturday). If you can make one or both, some or all, that's great. If you never come to a meeting, you can still receive the newsletters.
That's about it. I just thought there was some confusion about what type of "commitment" this group requires...I hope that answers the question.
